Concerts & Events
Borgholm Castle – or “Slottsruinen” (the castle ruins) as it is called in this context – is one of Sweden’s most popular and well-known outdoor concert venues. Borgholm Castle has its own stage for concerts, which is included in the rent.

The Castle is also the perfect venue for art exhibitions and various types of trade fairs. Its special environment in combination with the various rooms make the location very appealing.

The rooms cost SEK 13,000 for 100 guests including use of the kitchen. If you have more than 100 guests we charge SEK 50 per additional person.

The party venue may only be booked/rented by persons older than 20 years. Catering and other services are not included.

Weddings
The castle is a very popular and romantic place for weddings, with or without a wedding dinner. Smaller wedding ceremonies during normal opening hours can be performed without booking a function room, but if you want to be certain of an indoor alternative (e.g. in case of bad weather) you will need to book the venue as described above. With weddings during normal opening hours (without a party at the castle), the bridal couple, wedding officer and two witnesses always have free admission.

Funeral cermonies
A memorial service or funeral ceremony at Borgholm Castle is a beautiful alternative to a church. If you would like a discrete ceremony with some privacy, you should book the venue as described above, outside of normal opening hours.
