Things you should know before your visit:
› Cash not accepted. Card payment only.
› Dogs are welcome at Borgholm Castle.
› Borgholm Castle is a non-smoking facility.
› Picnics are allowed, but no littering.
› The castle’s opening hours can change when there are major events and concert days.
› Rooms and halls at the castle can be hired for weddings, concerts and private gatherings.
› Private individuals are permitted to take photographs and film for their own use as long as this does not disturb the experience of Borgholm Castle for other visitors. However, this excludes exhibitions or objects in exhibitions that are subject to a ban on photography. Feel free to ask the castle staff where you may photograph or film. Some exhibitions may have a ban on photography due to copyrighted content.
› Drones are not permitted.
› For publishing of photos on social media, feel free to tag your photos with #borgholmsslott, #borgholmsslottsruin, #borgholmcastle or #borgholmcastleruins
› Photography and filming for professional use is only permitted by agreement and requires a written photography permit issued by Borgholm Castle.
› To apply for a photography permit for professional photography and filming, please send a brief description of your project with the stated purpose to borgholms.slott (at) borgholm.se for assessment. Submit the project description in good time as it is not possible to grant photo and filming requests on site.
